Tucker Max has had his 15 minutes of fame. He is now using Hollywood and someone elses money to make sure that before he is forgotten by all of his fans he is going out with a bang.
Tucker Max's demographic is dead, he had a nice fan following in the late 90's early 2000's because the demographics that was "cool" in that age was very interested in what he had to say. They lived and breathed everything he had to say and getting "Tucker Max" drunk was the way to show that you were popular. Treating ladies like garbage was the best possible way to attract them because at the end of the day that is what all ladies look for right?
Some Myths:
- Tucker Claims he can and does have any women he wants
- He says he made love to a midget
- He had studios dying for his screenplay
- He believes that he is the futre of all media.
Debunked:
- Has anyone ever seen a picture of Tucker with a girl that was anything more than a 2 star? His recent girlfriend who he has no problem pimping pictures of all over the internet may look beautiful and now that the relationship is over lets think about a few things. She was a travelling nurse, maybe she was using Tucker to get in with his so-called connections in Hollywood/clubs, when that didn't pan out she let Tucker go the way one does with 3 day old pizza.
- He says he has made love to a midget: Not really the greatest of achievements but because he says it was something that he wanted to do since forever this may be a bit of a forewarning on what is a lie. People who were at that party with Tucker and the midget claim that yes he did go into a room with the midget, but no love making ensued. The author of this claim says that it was a an apartment with no roofs and they did actually peep in to see if anything had happened. Unfortuently for Tucker what they saw was the midget on the left hand side of the bed knocked out cold, and you writhing on the right hand, claiming to sleep with someone does not make it so.
- He claims that major studios got into a bidding war over his movie but at the last minute he decided to walk away because he wanted to do it the way he saw "fit". This was not the case, Tucker's screenplay has been seen by everyone in Hollywood and is used to line more parrot cages than copies of the pennysaver. No studio was interested in a movie that was nothing more than a Tom Green glorified road trip with antics that no one would appreciate. if studios had wanted his screenplay so bad why wouldn't any of them pick up the distribution rights for his movie in the UK, Australia or any other English Speaking country in the world. WHY WOULDN'T ANY DECENT DISTRIBUTION COMPANY PICK UP THE RIGHTS??
- He believes that he has set up the future of all media by starting a website and writing his own stories. Does that sound familiar? Sounds like a BLOG to me. He claims that the media network he set up has writers that will garner great attention because of what he has sacrificed for writers of rudius Media. You do unederstand that it is nothing more than blog farm and anyone that can install Wordpress Multi-User could essentially do the same exact thing right? Why Lie Tucker Max? Why do you make it sound like Tucker Max is the first person in the world to think of publishing a blog?
Tucker Max is about 5 years behind his time, if he would have been where he is now, maybe people would believe all the lies that Tucker Max has been able to spew out, but at the moment what he is doing is nothing more than lying to what few fans he has left, and covering up anyone that may call him out.
I was a tucker fan for awhile but after seeing what happened on the message board with any questions quickly being covered up I have to say that I have never seen a man with more of a Napolean complex than Tucker Max.

So, That "Legend"'s movie has finished it's run. 120 national screens. If I recall, it made somewhere from 20 million to 200 Million. Oh, no, wait, That's what Tucker Predicted. It actually only made 1.4 million, and was pretty much universally panned by critics as being a crime against cinema. Oops.
I think that the issue at hand is, Tucker Max is an asshole.
Actually, more to the point, he’s an asshole that makes a lot of money solely for being an asshole… and he makes no qualms about nor attempted to excuse or apologize for it.
What I see here is NOT a failure to communicate, but a failure to (a) pay attention, and (b) hold folks accountable.
As for Tucker’s accountability, well, he’s said repeatedly that he’s an asshole, and that he has mistreated people. He has mentioned in writings that he does consume a lot of alcohol and that he is hedonistic. His book’s title, “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell”, further demonstrates the fact that he does consider himself of low moral fiber… and this accountability, along with the piquant nature of his recreational activities, is what sells. Most folks wouldn’t be as honest or revealing about themselves, and would certainly be more hypocritical… could this be his greatest protagonists, perhaps?
Many feel that the women he screws or degrades (or both… you gotta hand it to him: he is a multi-tasker) are victims. Really? Victims? Are they somehow forced into sex? Does the strumpet above have shackles on her wrists and weights on her back, forcing her into the push-up position? Or is she there because, in her mind, she is subservient to Tucker’s mind-control? It’s like hypnosis with the conscientious decision-making: She’s only going as far as she wants to… who is anyone to blame Tucker for something she obviously wants to do, which, in this case, is something degrading and cruel. Tucker’s the rattlesnake that will bite you when he’s done with you… and shame on her for not knowing better.
The comment was also made that his biggest fans are college kids. How is this a sin? It SELLS, folks. That’s like cursing Cyndi Lauper music because now her biggest advocates are folks in their 40s that can actually afford a CD. Your condemnation of tastes and what motivates people to buy Tucker’s wares are pretty pretentious, and I believe the college crowd would resent your grouping them into a category of classless dullards.
Lastly, Roro, although there may be no reasonable application of Tucker’s writings and movie and such, there is the element of entertainment, which is no more than paying attention to something to keep from being bored. I’m not going to advocate Tucker’s works as works of art… but a number of people (perhaps not the majority, but still an existing faction) do find his stories entertaining. Perhaps his movie didn’t do too well; heck, I’ve seen it, and it fell kind of flat for me, too. But, then, I’ve never had a movie made about my life, nor have any of my writings been published outside of my blog (http://gentlemandick.blogspot.com/). I’d be curious to know what’s so appealing about your life and decisions that you’d condemn this man, victimize those AUTONOMOUS women, and prance off on your high horse?
I'm just amazed that gentlemandick is still doing this shit. It may have been justifiable WHEN Tucker was making money, but really? Do you really think he is making it now? And who cares. He told me he was announcing his "whoredomness," yes that's what he said, over 3 years ago- like it would be a state of the union address. He's 35 now and his gf that was aforementioned left him for Ian Ziering.... the days of him are done. It didn't work. Who in the hell other than him would argue that. There's a cookbook on recipes for semen that will sell more copies than his latest.

The guy wrote a handbook for general douchebaggery that was actually quite funny in an ironic way, I read I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell and had a few good laughs but throughout the entire book I found myself wanting to hear about his failings and embarrassing stories. You know why this is because even in his own words he is painted as a villain-like figure, every thing you've been taught about respect and chivalry is being shat upon with great success. I've met students of the Tucker Max school of interpersonal relations and I can honestly say that the closer anyone follows the book the less likely they will end up in the situation Max describes. The stories of his near harem of whores are either total bullshit or at least hyperbole of the highest degree. His fan base is made up by two groups; the hard partying single year college student, and the douche bag frat bro. I could rant about this guy being a waste of perfectly good oxygen and alcohol for days but I'll just cut it off with this the author of this article is completely correct, if you see this and disagree please re-evaluate your life then jump of the nearest tall building to save the rest of us from dealing with another generation of you people.
If you really had to make an article about why Tucker Max should stop, you are obviously a not jealous. Actually, jealousy seethed out of everything you had written above. He spends his life the way he wants to, sleeps with women, drinks, and degrading people for laughs, but your problem is that he made money from it. The guy writes humorous books and even if it's not true the guy can still make you laugh, if you have a sense of humor (which I have come to the conclusion, you don't have). He may not be the next mark twain but he has charisma and if you have ever read one of his books front to cover he announces several times in it that he is an asshole, and why should he have to apologize for what he is?

Legend? Really, hardly anyone I know knows this guy. And these are COLLEGE kids. So he's not as famous as you(HE) think. He's full of shit and committed voyerism. Good luck with that shit.
